The Story
Saha means “together” in Sanskrit.
To me, it is more than a word. It is how I understand life.
My hands learned to sew from my great grandmother’s hands.
She taught me how to make my first red drawstring skirt slowly, patiently, and with reverence for the fabric.
I remember the weight of the fabric, the quiet between us, and the way she treated making as something sacred.
She wasn’t just teaching me how to stitch. She was teaching me how to listen.
Since then, I have always been drawn to taking garments apart and reimagining them.
Pulling threads.
Adding beads.
Letting my fingers move before my mind understood why.
I have always felt that fabric holds energy.
The Saha House exists to help women come home to themselves… quietly, gently, together.
Nature is not something outside of us.
She is in our cycles.
In the softness we sometimes hide.
In the wildness we sometimes forget.
She reminds us that slowing down is not weakness. That softness is not fragility.
Everything I create carries this intention.
With lots of love,
Jenny
how it started
When I was young, I left home and began traveling.
Everywhere I went, I was drawn to the markets… the colors, the smell of local incense, and the quiet presence of women choosing their fabrics.
I watched how women adorned themselves not to impress, but to express.
To belong to their land.
To honor their bodies. Along the way I collected beads… small treasures shaped by many hands.
I created as I moved, selling pieces to continue the journey.
Creation became my language.
My prayer.
My way of being together with the world.
Arriving in Bali, I felt something special in the energy of the island.
But building this brand here was not easy.
There were endless nights of self doubt and fear. Nights of wondering if I could keep going and build a life through creation that felt abundant and steady,
rather than simply surviving.
Yet I kept returning to what I knew:
Love for the earth. Love for helping women feel beautiful
And so I built The Saha House.
A home for the sacred feminine.
A place where women can come to adorn themselves with intention.
Where every piece is made with reverence. Where every woman is honored.
Where every purchase supports a community of artisans creating with their hands and their hearts.
This is our story.
This is our prayer.
This is our way of being together with the world.
Thank you for supporting our creations
